NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy, Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia Javier Colomina visited Azerbaijan
The delegation led by NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia Javier Colomina visited Azerbaijan on 28-29 April 2022.
This visit was the second official visit to the country by the NATO Special Representative Javier Colomina in a year.
In the course of the visit, J. Colomina was received by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, and held bilateral meetings with Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister of Defense Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hikmat Hajiyev.
Throughout the meetings, the sides exchanged views on the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, current level of Azerbaijan-NATO relations, Azerbaijan-NATO Individual Partnership Action Plan and prospects for the development of bilateral partnership, energy security, regional and international issues of mutual interest.
