A Commemoration Ceremony for the National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held at the Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to NATO
On December 12, 2024. the cherished memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev was honored with great respect and a moment of silence at the Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to NATO.
The Head of the Mission, Jafar Huseynzade, delivered a speech at the event, emphasizing Heydar Aliyev's pivotal role as the founder of modern Azerbaijani statehood, the regular army, and the partnership between Azerbaijan and NATO. Highlighting Heydar Aliyev's immense and irreplaceable contributions to Azerbaijan, Jafar Huseynzade remarked that the most dynamic and successful era in the country’s history began with his return to leadership in 1993.
Additionally, Jafar Huseynzade noted that Heydar Aliyev’s legacy will always serve as a guiding light and a source of inspiration for future generations of Azerbaijan.
