Hikmat Hajiyev held a meeting at NATO HQ
Within the framework of the visit to Brussels, Mr. Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, had a remarkable meeting with NATO’s North Atlantic Council Ambassadors of Türkiye, Slovakia, Germany, Canada, Denmark, Bulgaria, Latvia, Luxembourg, UK, Romania, Lithuania, Belgium, Poland, France, Estonia, Italy, Sweden and Finland, as well as with the Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy (PASP), Ambassador Boris Ruge at NATO HQ.
During the meeting, the recent visit of NATO's North Atlantic Council Ambassadors and the meeting with H. E. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was emphasized.
Parties also had an extensive discussion on wide-ranging topics, including successful Azerbaijan–NATO partnership and prospects of cooperation, Azerbaijan's contributions to the Alliance, including to the energy security of Europe, as well as matters related to the regional security and the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace agenda.
