A meeting was held at NATO’s Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) in Mons, Belgium, between the Head of the Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to NATO, Jafar Huseynzade, and Rear Admiral Gunnstein Bruåsdal, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Partnerships Directorate at SHAPE.
During the meeting, Rear Admiral Bruåsdal spoke about the outcomes of his visit to Azerbaijan from December 3 to 5 to participate in the "NATO Days 2024" event held in Baku. He also shared positive impressions from the meetings he held during this visit.
Rear Admiral Bruåsdal highly appreciated the current state of Azerbaijan-NATO relations, the reforms being implemented in the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, as well as Azerbaijan's role in ensuring Europe's energy security.
